We're pleased to provide you greater service and value for your season performance. If you purchased a subscription or full-priced tickets to any Soraya-presented performance, your purchase includes self-parking! (Parking for student tickets, campus, rental or free-public events is $9.50 per vehicle).
To access this parking privilege, simply display a valid printable parking permit on your car's dashboard, with the date of the performance clearly visible. (Parking permits are sent via email to all eligible ticket buyers in the days leading up to the performance). If you forget your parking permit, please see a parking attendant located in the parking lot or in an Info Booth.
Valet parking will be available at Soraya-presented performances at the Great Hall for $20 (cash only). Entering from the intersection of Lindley Ave. and Nordhoff St., valet parking is conveniently located just steps away from The Soraya’s South Entrance. Valet service begins 1 hour prior to the start of the performance and ends 30 minutes after the conclusion of the performance. After valet service ends, any remaining car keys can be found at Guest Services, located in our lobby.
Plaza del Sol Performance Hall
Valet parking is generally not available for performances at the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall, unless otherwise noted at time of ticket purchase.
If you are CSUN faculty, staff, or a student, you must display your usual parking permit, or purchase an event parking permit.
- The Soraya’s Great Hall (Parking Lot B1)
Self-parking is conveniently located near The Soraya in Parking Lot B1 at the corner of Nordhoff St. and Darby Ave. (at the southwest corner of the CSUN campus). From this parking lot, you have the option to take a 5- to 10-minute walk to The Soraya or ride one of our courtesy carts (Soraya-presented performances only). - Plaza del Sol Performance Hall (Parking Lot G3)
Self-parking is conveniently located near The Plaza del Sol Performance Hall (PDSPH) in Parking Lot G3 at the corner of Zelzah Ave. and Prairie St. (on the west side of the CSUN campus). From this parking lot, you have the option to take a 5- to 10-minute walk to the PDSPH.
For those patrons desiring to self-park in Lot G3 for Soraya-presented performances, please note that event parking permits must be obtained at Info Booth #3 on Prairie St. or purchased from an automated kiosk in the lot. From Parking Lot G3, please anticipate a 10- to 15-minute walk to The Soraya.
Entering from the intersection of Lindley Ave. and Nordhoff St., we offer convenient passenger drop-off/pick-up in front of The Soraya in Parking Lot D1, just steps away from our South Entrance.
Plaza del Sol Performance Hall
Entering from the intersection of Zelzah Ave. and Prairie St., we offer passenger drop-off/pick-up just southeast of the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall (PDSPH) entrance on Prairie St. (near the entrance of the Student Recreation Center). From this drop-off location, please anticipate a 3- to 5-minute walk to the PDSPH.
- The Soraya’s Great Hall
A limited number of accessible parking is located in Parking Lot D1. Additional accessible parking is located in Parking Lot B1 at the East-end of the lot bordering Etiwanda Ave. or in Parking Lot F2 on Lindley Ave. just north of Info Booth #1. - Plaza del Sol Performance Hall
A limited number of accessible parking is located in Parking Lot G3. Additional accessible parking is located just north of the G3 Parking Structure on Prairie St.
8-passenger open-air courtesy carts are available for patrons who need a little extra help from the parking lot to the theater. The courtesy carts are driven by our well-trained Soraya staff and circle every 5 minutes between parking lot B1 and The Soraya courtyard (near our ticket office and just steps from our North Entrance). CSUN’s former shuttle service is no longer available, however on days with inclement weather, fully enclosed shuttle vans may be utilized instead of our courtesy carts.
Service begins 1 hour and 15 minutes before the start of each performance and ends 45 minutes after the conclusion of the performance. We like to give priority service to those who need it, but everyone is welcome.
Plaza del Sol Performance Hall
Courtesy cart transportation is generally not available for performances at the Plaza del Sol Performance Hall, unless otherwise noted at time of ticket purchase.
The Soraya and Plaza del Sol Performance Hall (PDSPH) offers a number of parking options for other forms of personal transportation such as bicycles, scooters, and skateboards. Convenient bicycle racks are located around The Soraya’s Courtyard and inside the University Student Union complex for the PDSPH. For both venues, scooters and skateboards can be left at the complimentary Item Check for the duration of the performance.
