Tell us YOUR Soraya story

Tell us YOUR Soraya story

We want to hear your story! One of the things I love most about my job is standing in the lobby with our patrons, hearing about their experiences at The Soraya. I could recount countless stories about memories made and lives changed. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are launching a project to preserve your stories so they do not fade away as the years turn into decades. This massive effort, called Soraya Stories, welcomes everyone’s story – audiences, artists, supporters, students, educators, and more.

You may have seen some of these stories pop up already in your email. Stay tuned as we will be sharing them throughout the rest of our celebratory 10th anniversary year.  Share yours in writing or in a video, and if you need a little help, we’re here for that too. Here are a few ways you can share your stories:

  • Post a photo or a video and a description of your story on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the hashtag #sorayastories and tag us @thesorayastage and anyone else you think may have a Soraya story to share.
  • Go to https://www.thesoraya.org/stories to submit a video or written story.
  • Have questions? Reach us at TheSoraya@csun.edu, and we’ll help you tell your story.

Please check in from time to time. Some Soraya Stories will be shared on our social media accounts, and some will live on our website. The Soraya is YOUR performing arts center, its history and its future alike. Soraya Stories celebrates that, and so much more.
