Take a behind-the-screens look at our arts education program as two members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra host a LIVE virtual masterclass with CSUN Jazz Studies musicians. Swing on by to observe these jazz masters instruct the next generation of jazz musicians as CSUN's Spring Semester draws to a close. Teaching artists to be announced.


CSUN JAZZ STUDIES

The CSUN Jazz Studies program is committed to progressive education, inclusive mentorship, and creating life-changing opportunities for our students. Diverse, internationally recognized faculty guide students in their artistic and professional development throughout their time at CSUN and beyond. Tina Raymond oversees the program, concluding her first year at CSUN as assistant professor of percussion/drum set and Director of Jazz Studies. 

JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER ORCHESTRA

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by Wynton Marsalis, is made up of 15 of the finest soloists, ensemble players, and arrangers in jazz music today. The mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center is to entertain, enrich, and expand a global community for jazz through performance, education, and advocacy.
