Three generations of Russian composers come together, capped by the rarely performed Piano Quintet by Alexander Taneyev, once a student of Tchaikovsky and later a mentor to Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff. Chinese pianist Wu Han leads the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, who are not only in residence at the largest performing arts complex in the world, they are known nationally for regular broadcasts on SiriusXM and appearances on PBS’s Live From Lincoln Center.
